Turning Adjectives into Adverbs
1st & 2nd Declension Adjectives into Adverbs
Go to the stem of the adjective and add the letter “ē”.
e.g.   laetus, a, um (happy) = laetē (happily)
miser, a, um (miserable) = miserē (miserably)
sacer, sacra, sacrum (sacred) = sacrē (sacredly)
Exception: bonus, a, um (good) = bene (well)
3rd Declension Adjectives into Adverbs
Go to the stem of the adjective and add “iter” or “ter”
e.g.  celer, celeris (quick) = celeriter (quickly)
fortis, -e (brave) = fortiter (bravely)
potens, potentis (powerful) = potenter (powerfully)
audax, audacis (bold) = audacter (boldly)
Some 3rd declension adjectives also simply add “e” 
e.g.    facilis, -e (easy) = facile (easily)
